Traditional Kumeyaay singer Stan Rodriguez of the Santa Ysabel Band of Diegueño Indians, made the drive and sang California Kumeyaay tribal songs at the San Jose de la Zorra Kumeyaay Fiesta despite rainy weather and bad roads on March 19, 2006. Stan's Kumeyaay wife is from the remote San Jose de la Zorra Indian village.
